Our client approached us to assist him with a property search in Clerkenwell, Shoreditch or Islington, London. This was to be his main residence. The detailed brief was a modern apartment with accessibility to local shops and restaurants, concierge service, second floor or above, a balcony, private parking, preferably west facing, and most importantly of all, a lift.

One property, set well back off City Rd, and overlooking the Wenlock Basin area of the Regent’s Canal, particularly caught our clients eye. Finished to an exceedingly high specification throughout, the property not only included a communal residents top floor roof terrace with City views and secure underground off street parking but was within a few minutes walk of the vast array of amenities around Old Street and Upper Street, yet quiet and secluded, with a balcony overlooking the canal with it’s population of resident ducks. Moving quickly we secured the apartment and over the weeks ahead acted as communication anchor to successfully guide the transaction through to exchange of contracts and completion.
